Please reach us at info@agelesscompanionsltd.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.
You can contact us directly via phone, email, text, or WhatsApp. We will then complete a referral form and arrange a home visit with one of our staff members. If desired, a family member can also be present during the visit.
The hourly rate, including VAT, is £19.80.
You will be required to pay for any meals and refreshments for your Companion whilst out as well as the mileage incurred whilst you are out with your Companion.
When a referral is made, you’ll provide our staff with details such as your interests, previous job, preferences for a male or female companion, age range, and whether you would like a driver. We then match you with a Companion who shares similar interests and meets your other requests from the initial visit.
Yes! Once we’ve found the right Companion for you, we’ll reach out to arrange an introduction visit, which usually lasts around 30 minutes. If everyone is happy to proceed, we’ll then agree on a start date. Rest assured, no one will arrive at your door without first being properly introduced.
During the initial home visit, you’ll have the opportunity to choose the days and times that work best for you. We understand that some clients may have carers for personal care or other regular commitments, so we’ll tailor the schedule to fit your needs.
You can schedule visits as often or as infrequently as you like.
Yes. We understand that continuity is important for building trust, which is why you’ll have the same Companion for each visit.
If your companion is off sick and you advise us you wish someone else, we will endeavour to cover this. If your Companion is on leave, you are given notice of this and asked if you require another Companion to visit. This will be arranged in advance.
An invoice will be sent to you every four weeks via post or email. Payments can be made by cheque, bank transfer, or over the phone. If requested, we will provide a receipt for your payments.
Both parties require a weeks’ notice on either side to cancel the service, however, given certain circumstances, it may be immediate.
The diary is used by the Companion to record their arrival and departure times, along with a brief summary of the activities they’ve done with you that day. Companions can also note their holiday dates and use the diary as a communication tool with family members. This allows family to stay informed about the Companion's visits and what has been done during each session.
